Copper pillows, Cupron, and ageless sleep
At first, when someone said they were using a copper pillow, it did not sound all that comfortable. Copper is, to the mind, a hard metal that pennies, pipes, and wires are made out of. Certainly, copper should not be used for a pillow! When I first heard the words copper and pillow used next to each other, I had to ask the person to repeat themselves to make sure I had heard right. Yes, that is what I heard, a pillow made from copper. What’s next, a rock mattress!
I decided that researching the history of copper would prove to be, at the very least, informative. I wanted to know how copper in a pillow product could be beneficial. The information I found was staggering. Copper is not just a convenient, malleable metal for pipes and pennies, it is used for a reason much more invisible to the naked eye, but maybe more important.
Copper has natural antimicrobial properties. This information is not new. In fact, the ancient Egyptians first used copper to transport water over 5 thousand years ago. The Egyptians somehow knew that by passing the water through the copper piping, it came out with less bacteria and thus, cleaner for drinking. We still use that today, although copper piping in modern homes is less convenient, it is recommended over PVC. The technology was passed onto shipbuilders who put copper on their hulls to keep algae from forming, and even to French vintners used it in a compound that kept fungus from growing on their precious grapevines. Copper, over the course of history, has been used in new ways for a variety of reasons, seemingly re-inventing itself for landmark ideas.
Recently, it was proven that the copper oxide compound could be bonded to other fabrics. This provides the fabrics with an antimicrobial barrier without chemicals or synthetics. This sophisticated form of compound fusion has been done for mass production without the use of hazardous materials or by-products. An environmentally and eco-friendly manufactured all natural antimicrobial pillow that is affordable. It is soft to the touch and defends against odors, allergens, bacteria, and fungus. It is currently being used in homes, hospitals, and military agencies around the world.
This technology has been brought to Slumbermart.com by Cupron Inc. They describe themselves as a green company that only uses “non-polluting, non-toxic, recycled, and natural copper technology because of copper’s environmentally friendly and safe nature.” The effects of the copper will last as long as the product itself.
But, what about ageless sleep? Copper pillows have been studied, and proven, to reduce fine lines and wrinkles in skin in under 4 weeks. It is an astounding product that is changing the way people view sleep. It is actually age defying sleep every night. Using copper can give you a healthier nights sleep that leaves you with nothing but refreshment when you wake up in the morning.
