SlumberBlog - Better Pillows

A few blogs ago I wrote about a bed rest pillow.  It is also called the husband pillow or boyfriend pillow, or study pillow…however you know it.  But I wrote a blog about it not too long ago.  You can read that here, if you want to catch up.  Anyway, after I wrote about it, I got thinking about it.  I was thinking how I used that pillow so often to play video games, and how my cousin and I used to fight for the pillow to use for gaming.  I think we thought it was good luck or something.  I called him the other night to remind him of our video game wars over that bed rest/husband pillow.  We had a few good laughs.

He said he actually has one of those pillows in his house now.  His wife is pregnant and her doctor prescribed getting plenty of bed rest for her swollen ankles and knees.  He actually went out and got her a husband pillow so she could be comfortable in bed and not use just her regular sleeping pillows.  (I know, what a guy.)  He said he thought of it, not because of the video games, but rather because when he was in college he got a dorm set that included the study pillow. He said that everyone on his floor had study pillows, and also said that the name of them was disputed (study pillows, husband pillows, boyfriend pillows, arm pillows) even in college.  I guess now we’ll have to add pregnancy pillow to the list.  But whatever you call them, they work in lots of situations, at all ranges of age.

I think that with all of this talk about these bed rest pillows, I should probably invest in one.  I could use one for reading in bed, which I do quite often.  No matter what you decide to call them, if you want to order them, you can get them here.  I think I will.
