It’s been a long discussed topic in our society.  Many used to say, and some still do, to look for the union label, and buy American.  But lately it seems that it has become more and more difficult to do that.  It is hard to find American made products since outsourcing became so popular in the last few decades.   There are  about 17 million websites that discuss buying American made products.  Although I did not have time to look through all of them, about 9 out of 10 discussed this topic as “Pro-American”.  It seems that most people in this nation, and others, call for American made products to be purchased, they say its best to keep the money here, to make and spend your money domestically.  A few years ago when John Kerry gave a speech for his presidential campaign, he said that 2/3 of new jobs are created by the small business, and by purchasing products made by small businesses it promotes a healthy domestic economy.

If you walk around your home and look to see where most of the products you have came from, I think you would be surprised to see how many items came from abroad.  There are other options, of course.
