Preferred sleep positions
Everyone of us has a preferred position for falling asleep. Granted, you may roll around a bit at night, waking up in a different position, but there is usually that one position that you have to fall asleep in. I have to be on my stomach in order to catch some good z’s. I usually wake up on my side, but I can’t fall asleep that way. It may have something to do with childhood, but I think that its more to do with relaxing, reading, or watching TV. When I’m watching a movie or reading, I’m usually sitting up, or laying on my back or side. It’s tough to watch TV on your belly. So, I think that’s the only position that I feel undisturbed and unoccupied in.
I have not bought a new pillow in years. Since I fall asleep on my stomach I like a thin pillow, and that’s usually achieved through an old pillow that has lost it’s plushness.
